Aurora
Aurora Aksnes born 15th June 1996 Stavanger is a Norwegian musician and songwriter. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves by Decca Records was released on May 15th, 2015 it received a raving review from bloggers and music critics and the media. Half the World Away from Oasis was released by the group Oasis was recorded to accompany an advertisement for John Lewis, and Nature Boy is an Nat King Cole cover. Katy Perry's endorsement of the song Runaway on her blog added to the musician's recognition. Make it a day to celebrate her birthday. Aurora Aksnes earliest musical memory was of discovering an instrument in her attic and being awed by the music it could make. Jan Oystein Aksnes' parents May Britt Aksnes advised her to make music as a means of development of her own, not for the purpose of making a living or to pursue an interest. To achieve this she wrote her first original compositions. In addition to Bjork as well, she mentions Leonard Cohen as an influence. Her mother had said that her songs would not just help her gain fame, and also inspire others to see their significance to the world and appreciate how they can benefit from the songs, she decided to begin singing in public. She was suggested by her mother to sing her songs in public in order to make people aware of their importance and the ways they can affect the world. The family did not be aware of this until she turned fourteen. Aurora has never imagined being a famous singer. As she says, she just loves writing music. She believes that music can help people feel more relaxed.
