Anna Silk

Anna Silk was born in January 1974. Her most popular role is Bo, from Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk was born in Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk, and Peter Silk have been the parents of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director and teaches drama at St. Thomas University. Silk is well-known for her television role as Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009 she was awarded a nomination by her fellow actors for Gemini Awards. The Canadian show Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character from the succubus. Silk revealed to fans the joyous news that she had become pregnant during the filming of the final episode of season 3 during an exclusive pre-show for Season Three. This was shown by Showcase during a special Season Three show held January 6th, 2013 prior to the show's premiere. Silk tweeted on June 20, 2013 that she is ready to resume working. The 4th of June 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially revealed the launch of production of the fourth season. CNN recognized Bo's performance alongside Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most talked about television couples of all time. E! voted it as the most popular TV couple for 2013.
